Bonnie Kuhn is a Registered Nurse who started her career 13 years ago at University California San Francisco in the Emergency Department. She developed her nursing grit at Doctor’s Medical Center, California Pacific Medical Center and Marin General Hospital working in acute care settings, pediatrics and emergency. Outside of the hospital Bonnie had an aesthetic nursing practice doing laser skin treatments and injectables.
With Bonnie’s diverse nursing background she has seen the lengths people will go to feel good and look good and this openness helped her to connect cannabis to health. She believes cannabis can play a huge role in giving many people what they have been looking for.
“I was raised by a very strong woman who instilled a great respect for Mother Nature, humanity, the underdog and absolutely everybody who is just having a rough day! This female strength and bond with my mom, with Mother Nature: it all lead to this realization that I needed cannabis the same time cannabis needed me. I’m a believer, a nurse, a mom, a firefighters wife, the daughter of the most salt of the earth woman you’ve ever met! It’s all led me here: wanting to prove that cannabis is Mother Nature at her finest, it’s about time she gets the light shown on just how beneficial she can be. To help create a new light in which to view cannabis, helping to de-stigmatize this plant, and to bring a sense of empowerment and a call to duty to the nurses at the front lines who see patients. As nurses, we are the most trusted profession year after year: I feel it’s nurses duty to help people and that it would be inhumane of nurses to let people continue to suffer who may benefit from this plant medicine. My goal is to help people see how medicinal cannabis will lead from curiosity to certainty.”
