Michele is a Boston College graduate (GO Eagles!) and has over 22 years nursing experience in specialty areas including surgery, perianesthesia and pain management. She enjoys breaking down the stigma of cannabis as medicine by sharing research and patient testimonials as well as her own personal story of overcoming chronic pain without the use of pharmaceutical therapy. Michele educates patients on the form and function of the endocannabinoid system as well as safe and effective use of cannabis. Common issues she has helped patients manage include pain, sleep and mood.
She is passionate about helping others heal with plant based modalities including cannabis and essential oils. With a strong focus on education, Michele enjoys guiding and supporting patients on their wellness journeys by incorporating the mind, body and spirit in the healing process.
Michele lives in MA and is an avid outdoorswoman who enjoys hunting, hiking and boating with her partner and their two bird dogs. She has also been active in the animal rescue community for 15 years. She is a long time board member for German Shorthaired Pointer Rescue of New England, Inc. and provides foster care for dogs who, through no fault of their own, find themselves in unfortunate circumstances. Michele has become known as the “go to girl” for CBD use within the pet population and LOVES working with her canine and feline clients and their owners. Michele is a member of the American Cannabis Nurses Association and the Cannabis Nurses Network and now the GreenNurse Group!
