Taylor became interested in all aspects of hemp and cannabis and the potential for revolutionizing not only the healthcare industry, but also the textile, cosmetic, and food industries. She knew there were many ways to utilize the plant and was confused why cannabis and hemp were prohibited. Her love and interest in cannabis was not about "getting high." She became a member of the American Cannabis Nurses Association and she was one of the first and only cannabis nurses in her home state of Alabama. Like many things, cannabis's usefulness lies in proper application.
